Looking for summer work?


Maybe we can help…since the YWCA’s Employment and Learning Centre has created a new and innovative program to assist young workers and students who are 16 years of age or older.

In a workshop-style setting, the following techniques and topics will be covered to
empower job-seekers  when gaining employment.

  • Resume References
  • Job Interview Do’s and Don’ts
  • (Post) Interviewing

Career Skills Topics:
  • Career Assessment
  • Building your skills as part of  Career Planning and Development
So between trips to the pool and slipping ice caps you can stop by our workshop on June 27th at 1:30pm to get tips on how to improve your resume and interviewing techniques and find the perfect summer job for you.
